 1. Why do people blog?

The original purpose for blogging was:

•  For self-expression cause some people are able to express themselves better through online platforms.
• For educational and learning purposes as nowadays lots of educational contents were disseminated through the blogs.
•  Because of interest in writing as many people they like to write about themselves and about the worldly aesthetics around them rather than sharing with others.  
• For fame and popularity, when people come across people getting famous and successful they also get the urge to follow that path cause having fame and being successful enable them to earn money.

2. Who are the active bloggers in the Country?

There are lots and lots of bloggers in Bhutan, however among them there are few who are more active and famous. They are:

Her real name is Tshering Denkar who is a traveler, trekker, author and travel planner. She is the first Bhutanese solo travel blogger where she mostly creates a blog of the aesthetic places of a country, about the different culture and practices that exist in country form the ancient time. Through her content she had become a source of inspiration and motivation for most of the Bhutanese youth.

 

• Park Sonam
  
   He is also one of the well known Bhutanese blogger. He mostly create a blog of foods, festival that is being conducted throughout Bhutan, Moreover, he is also a talented dancer and an outstanding actor.

 

 

 

•  Farmer Sangay
  
  
  
  

He is an Eco-farmer and rural householder where his main contents were all about the sustainable and Eco-friendly farming . Most of his contents were funny yet interesting as well as useful and informative.

 

3. What are their intentions for blogging?

The intentions for most of the blogger is:

• many bloggers aim to share their experiences or expertise on a particular topic with their audiences and theses experiences could include cooking, traveling, etc....
  
• sometimes they blog for earning, that is if you create an interesting content, than there is possibility of getting lots of likes which ultimately help them to earn more.
• some bloggers use this plate form to showcase their interests and hobbies through which they were restricted to do in reality.
• to raise awareness about the social issues.
• to entertain people where they provide interesting contents like stories, songs, dances and even humorous contents.
