Co-Constructive Tool
Co-constructive tool is a collaborative process where the learners learn from one another and further expand their knowledge and skills based on another's ideas. Some examples of this tool include Google docs, Google sheets and Google slides where students can work together collaboratively. Use of this tool enable the learners to engage actively in the learning process where everyone can share their ideas and knowledge and others can either learn of choose to further edit or add on that points. Moreover, students can construct new knowledge and skills based on the information or the knowledge shared in a collaborative manner and in the mean time it enhances the relationship among the learners. Furthermore, it also enhance the critical thinking skills of a child especially when they had to discuss or share the information that is appropriate and as per the requirement. Sine students are actively involved in constructing their knowledge and skills, it helps them to retain their information for a longer period of time. It not only involves the communication and collaboration among the students but also between the teacher ans learners where they learn from each other.
When we say co-constructive learning its like this image where every learners come together and pour out their ideas and knowledge and further construct a new knowledge. Thus among all the co-constructive tool used in a classroom one of the most prominent one is use of Google docs where the educators and learners use it mostly for discussions purposes especially when they have to work on the group assignment and projects. It is one of the most convenient tool for learners as well as for the teacher; that is firstly learners can discuss or share their ideas or knowledge of the concepts and even edit the work, and when assessing the authenticity of the work or to assess each individual it makes convenient for the teachers cause they are able to know who else had worked or not thus promotes fair and equity while grading. Consequently, these tools have become the important necessity in the field of teaching and learning.
